My heart aches right now as I return from New Zealand and see the devastation throughout Florida and in my husband’s home city Charleston, SC. It’s hard to take in the pictures we’re seeing and the unimaginable flooding that has left thousands homeless.
Also we remember the pain and loss of September 11. WE WILL NEVER FORGET. I remember the words from the Psalmist David who took comfort in this truth:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18
Please join me in praying for the men, women, and children who are struggling right now in the middle of tragedy.
As my pastor @jackngraham said “The Cross is present in the midst of tragedy. Glory in the Cross of Christ towering over the wrecks of time.”
WHEREVER YOU ARE TODAY, REMEMBER THAT JESUS WILL NEVER LET YOU GO.
